Forgetting does not mean that somehow the offense is magically deleted from your memory. Forgetting is a choice to not hold the offense against the person but instead to treat them as if the offense never occurred. The Bible says that God is all-knowing however, when we sin He chooses to remember the sin no more. God does not hold our sins against us. Ephesians 4:32 "Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive.
